Located in the heart of the Estremenho Limestone Massif, a large block of Jurassic limestones, Scalstone – Santarém Limestones is dedicated to the extraction, transformation and commercialization of natural stone, namely marbles and stones such as Moca Creme, Mirabelle, Saint Teodoro, Vidraço Zé Gomes or Moca Creme Imperial.

Scalstone’s activity starts in 2019

Scalstone was founded in March 2019 by two partners: Margarida Marta dos Santos Antunes Frazão and Carlos Manuel de Jesus Dias Frazão.
Margarida Antunes Frazão is the daughter of Adelino da Conceição Antunes and Maria Teresa Antunes, founders of Mocamar. She worked at this company for 24 years, assuming the functions of responsible in the financial and human resources areas and also in the advising management. Carlos Frazão, on the other hand, worked at Mocamar for about 27 years, assuming the duties of quarry foreman. After changing the corporate structure of Mocamar registered on May 9, 2019, Scalstone’s now partners and managers founded the latter, using their accumulated experience of several years in the marble and limestone extraction and transformation sector, and all its family legacy.
